By road: The restaurant is situated on Wherry Quay in Ipswich and can be reached by road via Salthouse Street and Key Street. Follow the brown tourist information road signs marked "Ipswich Historic Waterfront" until you reach central Ipswich, once on the one-way system follow the tourist sign with a bed for the Salthouse Hotel this will take you past the front of the restaurant.
Limited car parking is available on the waterfront, otherwise there is plenty of parking in the Ipswich Borough Council "pay & display" Waterfront car park situated off Duke Street, which is a short walk along the quay to the restaurant.
For satellite navigation systems use Neptune Quay which is a continuation of Wherry Quay.
By rail: the restaurant is a short cab ride or a 15 minute walk from Ipswich mainline station. By foot, turn right out of the station and walk along Burrell Road until you reach Stoke Bridge, turn left and cross the bridge, take the immediate right hand turn after the bridge you should now be able to see the marina. The road ahead forks, stay to the left hand side of the water, the Bistro is 300 yards along the waterfront.
By boat: the restaurant is next to Neptune marina and opposite and only a few minutes walk from Haven marina. Both are in and around the old wet dock of Ipswich Suffolk, accessed via the river Orwell.
