
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
At Bistro on the Quay, we are committed to providing a memorable dining experience for every guest. To help us manage reservations efficiently and reduce the impact of late cancellations and no-shows, we kindly ask all guests to review our policy below.
Reservation Guarantee
All dinner reservations must be confirmed with a valid credit or debit card. No charge will be made unless the cancellation terms are not met.
Cancellation Terms
You may cancel or amend your booking free of charge up to 96 hours (4 days) before your reservation time.
If you cancel within 96 hours, fail to attend, or arrive with fewer guests than booked without notice, a £10 per person charge will apply.
Group Bookings (8+ Guests)
A pre-order is required for all bookings of 8 or more guests. Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email with the group menu options.
Cancellations or changes to group size must also be made at least 96 hours in advance to avoid charges.
Dog-Friendly Tables
If you plan to bring a dog, please let us know by adding a note in the “Specific Requests” section of the online booking form. Dog-friendly tables are limited and must be reserved in advance.
Why We Require This
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are a challenge for independent restaurants. Requiring card details helps us reduce food waste, manage staffing, and accommodate guests on our waiting list. We appreciate your understanding and support.
